So apparently there is roughly 60-70 leaks of songs she recorded from KMO, Golden, Disco, and some of the new album. Even some random leaks from earlier. I'm not sure what's going on, but they are still leaking slowly

”Fever” was an enjoyable listen from start to finish, not up there with “Disco” or “Aphrodite” but better than “Light Years” and a lot better than “Kiss Me Once” imo! Before listening, I only knew CGYOMH which is obviously a classic that I still don’t mind listening to even though it was really overplayed back then. So I won’t include it in my rating, since it’s the only song that wasn’t new for me.
More More More: A solid opener that gets you in the right mood for the album, it’s not as hard-hitting as the other bangers on the album but just uplifting enough that you’re looking forward to the other songs! Not sure if I’d listen to it without the context of the album though, but within the album as a whole it works quite well.
Love at First Sight: A cute bop and very infectious. The “oOoOoOne”-part at the end of the chorus has been stuck in my head for the last few days.
Fever: This was ok, but one of the weaker ones for me. It sounded a bit too “cheesy” for me, like a Disney song or something. Still not bad though.
Give It to Me: I wish the chorus gave me a bit more (pun intended) but overall this was good!
Fragile: This was definitely lacking something imo. It’s the weakest song for me on the album BUT it’s not terrible and still listenable.
Come into My World: Enjoyed this a lot! The production is cool, I love how it’s kind of a banger while still having this “mystical” vibe to it.
In Your Eyes: Probably the highlight for me! I mentioned in this thread that I rediscovered this a few weeks ago when I went through her most famous singles, and I think I remember having this heard before but I don’t really remember anything about it so it was basically like a new song for me. I’ve listened to this a lot in the last few weeks, might already be one my all time favorite Kylie songs!
Dancefloor: The song is totally fine but it sounds like “Come Into My World” part 2 but a tad weaker? Very similar vibe and sound imo - and since CIMW is almost right before this on the album, it gets kinda overshadowed by it. I liked it though!
Love Affair: Another solid song, a very fun and uplifting bop!
Your Love: This didn’t do a lot for me, it was a bit bland. It could be much better with more oomph in the chorus!
Burning Up: I loved this! It really stands out from the rest of the album.
Whenever You Feel Like It: Is this a bonus track? It was after a bunch of remixes on the album version I listened to. It’s ok but I didn’t need this - “Burning Up” would’ve been a perfect album closer!
Highlights: Love at First Sight, In Your Eyes, Come into My World, Burning Up
So as I had hoped, this album was pretty good and I saved lots of its songs to my music library. Even the weaker tracks weren’t really bad, and if I wanted to enjoy the whole album again, I don’t think I’d necessarily skip any song! Thanks for the recommendations again
The next albums I’ll check out will be “X” and “Body Language”. I had also planned to check out “Golden” but not really sure about it any more since I’m not a fan of country music.

Yes, Whatever You Feel Like was a bonus song and a b-side in some places. Here in the UK it wasn’t part of the album, which did end with Burning Up.
I’d say Body Language, X and Golden are pretty divisive in the fandom, as a lot of the tracks on each album land differently for people. X is probably my favourite of the three, but I really love Golden - I’d argue it’s not really country, but pop music inspired by it. She’s not emulating Taylor or Shania, put it that wayI have a bad feeling about this.

And yeah I’m not a fan of pop-influenced country (or vice versa or whatever the right term is) either but maybe I’ll check “Golden” out anyway because why not!

Now you're heading for "X", I'm sure that "Speakerphone", "In My Arms" and "Like a Drug" will be your least favorite tracks.
From "Body Language", I can tell from now that "Red Blooded Woman" and "Loving Days" are your next least likeable songs.
And the 8th day God created KYLIE!!! <3

By the way, I also checked out “Mr President” and “Sleeping with the Enemy” as you suggested - they’re not bad, it’s a shame they’re not on the album because they’re better than some of the other songs that made it, imo!
And speaking of KMO, I think I gotta change my personal highlight on that album from “Million Miles” to “Sexy Love”, I’ve been enjoying that track a lot in the last few days.

I can already say I enjoyed my first listen of “X”! It was not as instant as “Aphrodite”, “Disco”, or “Fever” but I already feel like revisiting some of the songs again. Will dive into the album again and give a more detailed review afterwards!
”Wow” stood out for me during my first listen, I enjoyed it a lot. It reminded me of “Sexy Love” which was also a highlight for me on KMO.Last edited by SilentDream; Tue May 23, 2023, 11:06.

But honestly, her streaming catalogue needs sorting out desperately. It’s madness that every released song (b-sides etc) aren’t available on streaming.I have a bad feeling about this.

Definitely a highlight on X though. I know it’s a messy album and era, but I appreciate that she really did try to make a brilliant album - and what we got isn’t to be sniffed at.I have a bad feeling about this.

I’m ready for another reviewAnd spoiler for @GreekGreek, I actually enjoyed two of your Top 3 tracks
2 Hearts: This sounds really unlike Kylie, I admire her for taking a risk and even releasing this as a lead single even though it must’ve been a quite new sound for her back then. Personally, I didn’t dig it but it wasn’t bad either!
Like a Drug: This is good! The chorus could hit a bit harder but I enjoyed it as it was.
In My Arms: This really slaps, it’s borderline eurotrash but I was so here for it. Really liked this one! It’s so uplifting.
Speakerphone: Nahh this wasn’t really my thing.
Sensitized: Not bad! Sounds very early 2000s. I enjoyed the groovy mid tempo vibe, it’s something I haven’t really heard from her before I think. Though come to think of it, “Come Into My World” actually gave me a similar feeling.
Heart Beat Rock: Good song, the chorus is very fun.
The One: Okayish, I think this could’ve been much better if the chorus wasn’t so repetitive.
No More Rain: This was bit too generic and bland for me. It’s listenable but that’s about it, doesn’t do much for me.
All I See: The chorus reminds me so much of a newer song that was popular a while ago, but I just don’t know which one. Anyway, I quite liked this, very early 2000s RnB/Pop, an interesting sound for her! It kinda stood out from the rest of the album, sonically.
Stars: Honestly I could write the same thing here as I did for “No More Rain”. It’s just nothing special and a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the album.
Wow: Love this! My personal highlight on the album so far.
Nudity: This is also “Wow” but as in Wow, this is bad! Seriously, what is this? The worst one on the album for me!
Cosmic: I haven’t really been into her slower songs so far but this was actually pretty enjoyable!
Overall a pretty enjoyable album for me and I’d rank it somewhere in the middle compared to her other albums. There were definitely different sounds on this album compared to the others - “2 Hearts”, “All I See”, or “Cosmic”, just to name a few, were unlike other typical Kylie songs imo! That’s why the whole thing was a pretty interesting listen overall.
Highlights: Like A Drug, In My Arms, Heart Beat Rock, Wow

Glad it wasn’t tho..
Tbh picking 2 Hearts as the first single was one of their worst decisions ever. I mean I really like the song but it just doesn’t represent anything on the album. In My Arms would’ve been a great first single, a euphoric return.
