I'm from Brazil too. I've seen her tours just two times, S&S and MDNA. Unfortunately, when she came for the first time, in 1993 with the TGS, I was 11 and I wasn't a fan. RHT didn't come here too. I hope that her next world tour returnes to most important country from Latin American

It's tough to decide, but I can agree with your list. I would just move Rebel Heart down to #8.

          • I can't rank tour like that because some of them are really out of this world, from songs to staging, from costumes to choreography.
            My favorites are
Blond ambition, TGS, DW, Confessions, MDNA and WTG because you'll never find a tour with more packed hits than that.
My second favorite are, LVT, RIT, S&S and RH

Blonde Ambition holds a special place both because of timing in my life and also it was the first of its kind, really. The Girlie Show was a very solid follow up with some clear progression.

I didn't see either of them live, but that may be part of their charm to me. I've watched them both so many times!

              • The Girlie Show was my first Madonna show I saw live.
I had watched blond ambition a gazillion times and I was sure she couldn't top that tour!
                Boy was I wrong!
To this day, I can't get enough of that show. To me it's perfection.
What she did with the Blond Ambition, she perfected it, polished it, and gave us perfection. Broadway meets rock n roll.

The only tour I've seen live is MDNA

I know you think Iím going to say ďAh, that explain it!Ē but I wonít do that because actually, I donít necessarily buy into it.

Whilst I do believe there is some element of truth in it, memories of the experience fade and we rely on the DVDs to fill in the gap and end up forming lasting impression in part based on these (and now to an extent mobile footage shared online).

My favourite tour - as I said previously - is RIT, which coincidentally was also my first ever Madonna tour. That said, time and space away from it and I believe it isnít as good as DWT - which I didnít see.

My biggest issue with MDNAT is that it starts great and continues downwards and never quite recovers (although Open Your Heart and Vogue are a good lift in proceedings).

RHT deals with this much, much better, but suffers my biggest gripe - both shows donít build to a thrilling climax. The last section of any Madonna tour should be filled with her biggest hits and 30 minutes of pure Madonna joy. Album tracks and covers donít work - thatís what youíre supposed to do in the middle section.

RHT should have had the last 2 sections swapped around, with LAP after Rebel Heart, followed by Holiday (I can just above forgive RH as itís the tour title track and now the name she have given her fans).

If you add in tickets for TGS, BAT and WTG, she must be around the 15 million ticket sales by now (working on understanding that these were all stadium tours at her peak).

Yeah. Her TGS's shows in S„o Paulo had 90,000 and Rio de Janeiro had 120,000 people

An incredible success, for that you can easily call a " mini" Tour...... and to think that it only touched 2 cities in Europe!

The only good thing o WTG id Madonna's energy.
Plus you can see how overwhelmed she was for being performing to those huge crowds everywhere.
Apart from that a big No-No!

                                              • The only era I didn't like AT ALL (apart from MDNA ,that is) was American Life.
Actually,it took me almost 10 years to appreciate the album lol

I still remembet how i forced myself to like it.
I used to listen to it everyday for weeks while going to work lol
I also vividly remember how disappointed i felt when i first listened to it.

                                                  • My first conscious era was "Ray of light", I was around like 8 or something and it was the time I was just getting into MTV, even though the album was released in 1998, all of the music videos were on heavy rotation for 1999 as well. I remember feeling hypnotized with "Frozen" and I thought all of her music videos and singles were just great, I didn't buy the album right away tho, I was too young and probably busy buying Eminem and Britney albums instead ... But that was my introduction to Madonna, and what a great introduction it was...

Then she released "Music" and I lost it with the first single it was instant love, and loved everything she did around that time and it was the first Madonna album I bought and listened in full, that era always holds a special place in my heart.

For "American Life", I remember I felt a bit underwhelmed with it, I had mixed feelings, perhaps I was still too young to get that acoustic - mellow vibe of the album, despite all that I do remember loving some songs on the album but hating other ones at the time, it was years later that the album and era grew on me and basically re-discovered it completely under another perspective and became now one of my favorite Madonna albums.

I remember feeling slayed with her "Confessions" comeback, opposed to "American Life" this time it was instant to me, I was super thrilled with "Hung up" and slayed to the pits when I first listened to the album, this is one of my greatest memories with an era during the 00s and always found it extremely effective, fresh and epic. In other words it was love at first sight and still stands up as of today.

I think everyone was hyped for her next album and move after "Confessions", I confessed that I was blown away and hooked up to "4 minutes" when it first came out but the song kinda aged fast for me and it was the very first Madonna era that wasn't that interesting to me, I remember I wasn't much impressed by the second single and its music video at the time it was released, and the way the 3rd single was treated was a non-event for me, I wasn't much hooked up on the album either and I didn't like the Tour as much as I loved the brilliant "Confessions Tour". Things haven't been much exciting ever since.

For Her pre- "Ray of light" eras I had to explore them and discover them on my own, and I was SLAYED!!!! I also found with the fact that much of her 80s singles were familiar to my ears as I had been exposed to most of them on the radio when I was a little kid, it was cool to discover that was the same Madonna I had known since "Ray of light".
