I listened to her 80 catalogue in full this week, including the dreaded LAP album. It really is a weak body of work and I don’t understand the fascination, but I agree that TDDUP has a great lyric to it.

Everybody wasn’t even a global single. It’s crazy to think if she had used Ain’t No Big Deal instead of Holiday as originally planned the entire Madonna thing might not have happened!

Of course it would have. Although Holiday was her first international hit it took Like A Virgin to turn her into a super star.
It took Borderline till 1986 to become a hit in Europe. (And Lucky Star wasn't as big in Europe as it was in the US.)

Where is that fan speculation coming from?
Have you even checked the date? Those rumors existed in 2014 when they did shoot together and Madonna used UnapologeticBitch hashtag.
