I not convinced we’ll get a tour... but if they’ve kept that quiet I’ll be impressed Madonna managed that. A September start means a June start for rehearsals... which in fairness, sounds right - especially if she drags her new ass on the promo trail for most of May (kicking things off with Eurovision) then goes straight into rehearsals.
What promo could she do? Is Ellen as big as it’ll get in the US or is there another big show she could pop up on?I have a bad feeling about this.

Yeah but she had just won a golden globe... she thought that meant she could act and finally give up the popstar life for HollywoodI have a bad feeling about this.

I’m hoping for a return of the mini gigs she used to do to debut the new material for fans. I think she’d broadcast them herself now (unless someone wanted to buy the stream) and I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up being for Icon members only. If she’s still promoting in June (NYC Pride) then maybe she doesn’t being rehearsals until July.
I’m hoping she’ll do a UK chat show (probably Jonathan Ross or Graham Norton again) and my guess is she’ll pop up on Ellen and The Late Show... and fingers crossed for a 2nd Carpool Karaoke.I have a bad feeling about this.

About the poll, I can't believe you guys forgot about Time stood StillI guess technically it wasn't a soundtrack single though
I voted for it on the "other" option
Also voted for Into the groove, Causing a Commotion and I'll remember.
I also liked Oscar winner- oops sorry- not MasterpieceLast edited by AndiIversen; Sun March 3, 2019, 14:55.

Hard Candy- MDNA - 3 years and 10 months;
Rebel Heart - ? - already 4 years (Mar 15/Mar 19)
Yeah,by far the longest we've had to wait .

It bugs me, but it was officially released I suppose (as oppose to radio just playing it) and as a result it did chart in the UK. Sort in the same way Hold Tight is a single from Rebel Heart in places and Over and Over is also a single from Like a Virgin in Italy.Blessed to say I've seen Mariah live 8x, Madonna live 8x, Céline Dion live 8x and many others once or a few times.

I don’t begrudge her though. Her life has changed so much since Rebel Heart was released. She basically took 2017 off when she adopted the twins (and part of me now suspects that may have been part of the adoption conditions - it’s unusual a single woman of her age would be allowed to adopt twins unless there was a firm plan of care and bonding plan in place). Then let’s not forget her relationship with Rocco broke down and she’s had to adjust to not getting her own way (and let’s not forget her lawyers accused Guy of kidnap and wanted him arrested).
Its easy to brush Rebel Heart off as a 2015 release, but she was on the RHT until 2016 and then worked on editing the footage (frame by frame herself, or so you’d have thought) and we know she was trying to write and make a movie (‘Love’ - based on the book ‘The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells’ which I ended up reading and thought was a perfect story for Madge). Then she turned 60 which I think had an impact on her too.
I believe she started working on M14 the end of 2017/start of 2018 so whilst we’ve waited forever, if she hadn’t taken 2017 off I think we’d have had the album in 2018 which would then have been a typical Madonna time frame.
Though there is no excuses for not giving us new song along the way (Champagne Rose doesn’t count as she recorded it drunk in her bathroom). But knowing Madonna she’ll have thought we’d have been happy with RHT album. Maybe, if she had added in the studio version of ‘If I Had a Hammer’ she teased us with. But probably notI have a bad feeling about this.
