Crazy to think that if she/Warner would have released one extra single from her first 10 albums that she would have an extra 10 hits on her chart stats. She was practically guaranteed top 40 or higher during her peak phase. Can you tell I'm chart obsessed.

Yep I’m chart obsessed too or at least was. So many wasted opportunities. Madonna was as huge as Ariana is now on the charts and they could’ve capitalized much better. They always released single and album on same day which was dumb. They should’ve released single a couple weeks before in some instances. Oh well...

That must depend on where you are then. In the UK her lead singles usually predated the album by a few weeks.

Cher charted in 2002 with song for the Lonely. And Madonna last charted in 2015 with BIM. I think it comes down to exact dates between the two. Someone should check it out. But there could always be some random female charting we are not even thinking about.

Yes, I think it�s definitely one of the two. I can�t imagine any other woman over 55 (certainly over 60) that isn�t a legend getting something on to the Hot 100. I�m surprised none of Cher�s ABBA era got to the bottom end of the Hot 100 though. I also thought something might have charted for Aretha when she died, but not that I can see.

It�ll never happen but I�d love Madge to get a US Top 10 and just extend her lead of most top 10s - it�ll be broken one day, but I very much doubt anyone but Madonna could do it at her age.

You're thinking as if only legends can chart. I was trying to find age records and I can't find for females anything, but the oldest act to chart on Hot 100 is a random truck driver Fred Stobaughat at 96 years old. Wouldn't surprise me that some similar WTF situation happened with some female.

Well considering how hard it is for anyone over 40 to chart, I assumed if anyone can do it it�s a legend - I can�t just guess someone random I�ve never heard and look them up

Well exclusive magic instagram has been posting fake things for months. Also the ground is different from the videos madonna posted. Also Madonnafanparty doesnt know anything. They repost fan rumors. They posted about the Apple event this monday and nothing happened.

I remember Tina hit the Top 10 with I Don’t Wanna Fight here in the US (Hot 100). But upon closer look it was 1993, 26 years ago and she was 53 at the time. It’s hard to believe she is 79 now. So if Madonna can get another Top 10 she will not only extend her record of most Top 10s, she will also hold the record as oldest woman to have a Top 10 on the Hot 100

Into The Groove (as seperate singles)
