There are actually at least 8 film adaptations of Madame X. My personal fave is the 1929 version with Ruth Chatterton.

It's exciting actually and i do think we have great things coming. I think Madonna was in the zone while making this album, that's why she is giving importance to visuals. She knows her legacy is at risk, 4 bad/mediocre albums in a row is bad enough for a female artist who is battling ageism. So she has to prove why she became Madonna to younger generations. So far i'm really happy and positive about this project, hope it'll remain the same once i hear the lead single.

Overall I agree, but the BIB I don’t. Madonna has been around decades and has generations of fans - if she really wanted to prove who she was, she has a better time actually being MADONNA and catching the eye of those that she lost along the way. It’s a safer bet and I still can’t buy into the fact people think she is chasing a teenage audience.

Personally I think it’s been more about chasing ticket sales than anything else - her business model absolutely changed when she signed that Artists Nation deal back in 2007. I think she tried to comeback to the music with RH but she was talked out of her ideas, compromised her vision and had horrific leaks.

This time I just feel like Madonna is 100% in control, isn’t compromising for anyone and we will get exactly what she wants us to have. I really feel like this is Madonna back in the zone, like she was 1998 - 2005. The woman who legend has it never accept ‘no’ when she wants something.

At least I hope so.
