I'm curious about that as well. Some say she's angry because Dark Ballet director's cut video being leaked, some say she's mad at Republicans.

Personally, I dont see the big deal with the footage being leaked. But at the end of the day we know she is passionate about her work/visions/artistic integrity..

I suspect the alternative cut might have been forthcoming on the DVD/Netflix as a bonus feature. Just a guess though.

I thought this was about something bigger than the Dark Ballet video.

I can understand she is upset about the leak, but for the fans it's a nice thing to "have".
I only watched the video once or twice as there was no Madonna herself in the video and the video didn't appeal to much to me anyway.
For me it has more value to re-watch it now we have more shots of Madonna being part of the video.
But well, at the end of the day it's her art and she has the "right" to be upset about the leak.

But it happens to all artists. Stuff gets released when they die, even painters have their paintings examined to see if there were pictures underneath the one we see, etc.

I always thought that BTS performance was overrated.
Vocally she’s off and then she steps into the crown and prances around weirdly pointing at people. I wish she was standing stoic like the first half of the performance. I know that’s not very popular...

Like almost every year I currently have a very intensive Madonna listening phase going on. It actually started this year with 'Ray of Light when I was feeling all over the place and this album has a very calming effect on me. I can really relax while listening to it from start to finish. Saddens me somehow that I hated Madonna back then when the album came out and didn't care much for it until COAD happened and she got me hooked.

Nevertheless, I went to Erotica (Rain!!!), then American Life (Mother and Father) , Madame X (I don't search) and now I am listening to Music and a thing I really have to say is that Music contains (for me) Madonnas best non-singles. Impressive Instant, Runaway Lover, I deserve it, Nobody's perfect, Paradise...I think that the singles somehow are even a bit weaker than the non-singles for me.

Nice to read that! I remember reading somewhere that Music is probably the album that most represent Madonna, and the mix of different songs kind of contribute for this (she's diverse). Some people say it isn't cohesive enough, but I enjoy it a lot. Not my favorite but it is inside my second half of favorites.

BTW... Frozen looks stunning in HD. Well done, whoever did that.

Yeah it is strange with "Music". I would never even rate it in my top 5 albums, but somehow whenever I get hooked to it, I get hooked hard.

Oh and in case you were wondering:

1. Confessions (by a mile, got me hooked on Madonna)
2. Ray of Light (it earthes me when I need it)
3. Erotica (great and pushing boundaries)
4. MDNA (UNPOPULAR I guess, but there are too many memories connected to this album of me taking trips to my then-girlfriend now wife...)
5. American Life (She really didn't care at this point what others might say and she got backlash on an Erotica level but she didn't handle it half as well... still a meaningful album with great songs)

I guess sixth place is a tie between Music and Bedtime stories... I am really not too fond of her first three albums. And well hard candy was a blip (although a catchy one) and Madame X still needs some figuring out by me to fully place it. Rebel heart was "1" the year it came out, but it aged SO badly for me...

Music is my favorite madonna album. It is both fun and introspective. I think it hit that balance a little better then ROL.
