I have a soft spot for Music album because when I had moved to Spain and was living in an apt on my own with no internet and I didn't know anyone or speak Spanish, I found the CD in a player in one of the rooms. I used to play it over and over and over again! This was pre Spotify! Flawless album.

Haven't been interested in the Madame X Tour , but from the (fan) reports, it sounds pretty bad.

MXT is her most critically acclaimed show. It’s brilliant. But if you don’t like MX there’s not a huge leftover to love, but those songs come alive on stage. It’s very different for Madonna - less spectacle and more performance art.

I watched her MDNA Tour entrance last night, one of her best tour entrances ever.

The entrance is good but my god it’s dragged out. I didn’t really like the MDNA tour but I love listening to the live album. But the show itself a very mixed bag. No one needs that version of LAV in a stadium show, and too many songs recycled from S&S. Madonna has so many hits she doesn’t need to perform the same songs on consecutive tours.

We have an open door policy. Listening to Madonna regularly is not a prerequisite to contributing towards a discussion. Especially seeing as we haven’t had a new album since 2019.

From the "recycled" songs she did on MDNA Tour, most of them have a better performance/version than they had on S&S Tour.

Like A Prayer is horrible on S&S Tour.
Human Nature is pretty boring on S&S Tour, the MDNA Tour performance is amazing.

Candy Shop is also amazing on MDNA Tour. On the S&S Tour, it kinda lacked something, most likely because it was the opener to the tour.

Vogue was also butchered on S&S Tour. The MDNA Tour version is superior IMO.


A song that was terrible on both tours is Hung Up.

I disagree with all of that. Only agree with Hung Up being an abomination on both tours.
