People dismiss the project because Madonna is the director. If she was heavily involved with the movie while letting a good/established director direct it, nobody would've been dismissive.

Any studio knew what they were getting into when Madonna pitched the movie to them - it was supposedly an all encompassing look over her life and career. That means lots of sets, lots of locations, lots of casting.

Women who are demanding are automatically called a difficult. The post quoted from Twitter doesn’t actually make any sense - just because Universal are attached as the studio doesn’t mean it’s being made by Universal. Madonna will presumably setup her own production company again (like she did for WE), using Universal’s money to make the movie.

So the only difficultly at this stage would be disagreements over the script, and as long as everyone involved is passionate about getting the best version, everyone remains on the same side.

Ultimately this is Madonna - there’s a huge commercial appeal in getting the rights to her biopic. Universal stand to make a lot of money, and they aren’t going to walk away from that - nor can I see Madonna agreeing to a contract that allows them to walk away from the deal. They’re in this together. It’s just going to take a minute.

The advantage of having Universal on board is that they won’t let it bomb. If they have to forcibly hold Madonna’s hand every step of the way, it will get done.

The only other issue I see with the script really is that Universal’s lawyers might get nervous about what stories Madonna wants to tell involving other people, and need to approve certain elements.

Technically, it is. I agree that it's not an important chart cause it only means people are listening to a song and want to know its name and/or whose from. It could mean nothing in the long run or it could translate into more streams to the song.

For instance, the audio below is currently receiving ~1,000 plays per hour today, which would be enough to become Madonna's 16th most played video on Youtube, if it was an official upload.
