Does anybody knows why the Deeper & Deeper Music Video was cut short on MTV back in the day?

In Europe when it was released on MTV I remember some scene were cut ( scene showing guys in underwear) that scene were considered too hot .

So much better than Bad Girl. The only reason I can think of was cut short bad in the day is because of the strip/banana scene being sexually suggestive.

Annoyingly we’re still waiting in something like 40 remasters to HD. They need to move their arses and get on with it

plus why was Take a Bow in 4k but nothing else?

I'm pretty sure the Girl-On-Girl kiss at 2:20 was cut from the MTV version too. And maybe some of the Club scenes.

Maybe they are waiting to upgrade all to 4K once the reissues come out? It has to be that or they won't even bother.

BTW, it still shocks me that Celebration is in 240p since it was uploaded. We already had 720p in 2009!

The only reason I can think of for TAB is that they must have had a really high quality version of it lying around. The HDs from 1998 onwards seem to be digital uploads rather than remasters, so I don’t understand why they weren’t remastered or uploaded in 4K.

I’m hoping that her biggest aren’t done because they might actually rescan them rather than upscale them. A boy can dream!
