                    • so she could have potentially booked 2 London stadium dates and be ok...but this way -with arenas- they actually created more demand playing with people's FOMO and them getting anxious and what not, good strategy tbh

Yes the queen could have easily sold out 3 wembley shows with lower prices if she wanted too
it's like her new peak like in the 90s.
                        so amazing.
                        Her tour never fails. Period.

                        • Her tour productions costs a lot of money. She has to charge for it. If you've never been, i can see why you don't understand. Once you attend one of her shows, you'll totally get it.

We had a brilliant week, didn't we?

I don’t know - Madonna hasn’t played Wembley Stadium on consecutive nights since 1993. Even in 2008, Live Nation had a second date reserved for Wembley Stadium (S&S) which ultimately didn’t go on sale due to lack of demand.

So even though S&S09 was a stadium show, she actually played two arena dates in London instead of doing Wembley Stadium again (Madonna actually did three dates - one of them was a private corporate event).

Even on Confessions, when she did eight shows at Wembley arena, she only played to 86,000 people - not enough to fill Wembley twice.

That said, the London rollout was pretty great for this tour. Perfectly planned and a surprising amount of people wanting tickets. It’s worth remembering to ignore the naysayers I guess - people were so convinced Eurovision had ruined her forever

                                        • Mathematically, 2 Staples (now Crypto) arena shows, in Los Angeles, brought her $6 million (29,015 people for both shows) on MDNA Tour, whereas Dodger Stadium did $5.8 million on S&S (43,919 people).

If we hypothetically say that these Crypto arena shows will bring roughly $3 million, or even $2.5 million, that's somewhere between $10 and $12 million, which is definitely money she wouldn't get from a stadium show. Not anymore at least. I think the tactic is pretty good.

Also, on MDNA, her one Yankee stadium brought $6.3 million while Madison Square did $2.4 million (and she has 4 of those coming, so def. $9-10 million in the bag).

I have a feeling has she marketed this as a stadium shows people would buy tickets slower and it wouldn't create the adequate media frenzy she needs to boost the sales.

key is that now it's being promoted as her first GH tour, that's mainly why people are flocking to get the tkts imho (and the selling strategy too)
