the fact that 4 Minutes became one of the most successful hits of the year, not really

actually usually only madonna fans don't like it...the general public loves that song
Yea, but are songs that were hits just because they were collaborations with a hotter pop star really a good thing? If Madonna can't get Miles Away or Sorry on US radio but can get one of the worst songs of her career into the top 3 because of Timberlake, that's not a good sign. Do you really want Madonna to turn into Carlos Santana or Elton John, using hotter/younger names for hit records that they can't get on their own? I sure don't.
Outside the Usa , 4 min was a hit, and it was considered by the general public as a Madonna track; In Usa Madge could release her best single ever now, radio still keep refusing it, for reasons we've explained milions of time, and that's has not only to do with Madge but with Usa radio sistem !!!

@ Tiago:I disagree that 4 min was percieved as a good single from the general audience, it was seen as one of her worst ever actually!!!

Do you remember that Israeli girl who was presenting in MTV Europe? During the "Evita" era she was doing the request show and someone requested "Human Nature" and she goes... "oh yeah we do like that Madonna much more than the Evita Peron one" lol

Mildly entertaining? Come on Neil! Tesco Mary could never

Seriously now, I loved Human Nature! It was so popular on MTV and I could never get enough of it.

I remember being a kid and MTV was having a show called '3 from 1' and they used to play Take a Bow Secret and Human Nature. I don't think we had internet back then so MTV was extremely powerful! God!

"Human Nature" was underwhelming. The video pretty much saves it. And no, I don't want Madonna anywhere close to Rihanna or to any song of the style of "S&M" musically and even lyrically (been there done that (with far more clever lyrics mind you)

"Human Nature" was one of my least favourite Madonna singles of the 1990s.

The video was mildly entertaining, though.

Indeed. Madonna dabbled in S&M herself on more than one occasion and I'm so glad that phase of her "career" is behind her!

Although I love Britney, I wish Madonna collaborated with Rihanna on S&M

    Epic.
let me introduce you the queen of pop in the clu~~b ha!
At least she shouldn't do this club-/house shit that's around... Like Enrique Iglesias, Kesha, Pitbull, the newest single of J.Lo. etc.
I guess that's the sound some people are expecting from her but that would make the people say again that she did what's trend and not created a new trend like they said around the Hard Candy-era.
I want her new album to have a sound no one would expect from her and that she shows that she still can create the trends and influence the pop music...
I read somewhere that she wanted to cooperate with David Guetta.
I hope she saw that his music is too bad for her and she does something epic again, not the 3-billionth house song to show "she is a party people having fun in the club" or stuff like that .

    Timmy

Madonna has never given the best in the duet!!

I do not see the reason of a duet actually, and I do not notice any fans demand about it!

Em, as long as it doesn't involve RedOne I'm fine with it. The last thing we need is Madonna shouting "RedOne" at the beginning of her comeback single lol.But if there is one person that Madonna should have duetted years ago and still should is Kylie. A Madonna/Kylie duet would make both fanbases happy and the song wouldn't sound too forced for any of the two artists, as was with Britney or as it would be with Gaga. My other dream of course would be Madonna working with Debbie Harry. She worked with Annie Lennox, so I can definitely see it happening at some point. Those people are on Madonna's level, not f*cking Britney, Justin and Gaga (although I did like songs by all of them and I do like Britney in general)
