Didn't expect to see an Ayu thread here!

Been a fan since 2008, so I remember the Next Level and Rock 'n' Roll Circus albums fondly! Microphone is one of my favourite Ayu songs, and Rock 'n' Roll Circus is an album I go back to regularly. I actually really enjoyed Party Queen

I've seen her live 3 times now The first time was the fanclub tour in 2015, her 2015-16 countdown, and her 2016 arena tour.

As much as I love a lot of her music, I haven't really clicked with a lot of her music since LOVE again in 2013, so I had mixed feelings about the setlists for those. And I can't be doing with the amount of focus her dancers get (especially Shuya, I think is his name), the overacting drives me mad

I gotta admit, I have a lot of respect for her nowadays. She's basically deaf and is still performing. She said that performing and touring is all she knows and the stage is were she belongs. I don't know... that statement is very sad kind of but also impressive.

Her music career these days is a total mess but she's legend and will hopefully be remembered as such (people just have to forget all of her albums post Secret).

So.. she became a new mom...?

Through a message on her fan club Ayumi drops a real bomb.
« I became a mom last year » « I sometimes find it difficult to find balance » « Thank you to those who understand me and who accept me as I am » It is with these words that Ayumi concluded her thank you message on TeamAyu this morning.

Completely unexpected news that takes everyone by surprise! Indeed, no appearance or photo of pregnant Ayumi could have put us in the ear. If Ayumi has often been criticized for staging her private life in the past, here is a nice snub!

The sponichi article states that she gave birth to a baby boy at the end of 2019, that the father is a younger « unknown » man and that there are no plans to marry.

It’s surprised and moved that I can barely finish this article, to wish Ayumi and her family immense happiness!お め で と う!
