      The Girls plot their return

      UNA MULLALLY

SMALL PRINT: IT’S THE announcement that pop fans have been waiting for: the return of Girls Aloud. Dust off your pink cowboy hat and renew that subscription to Heat because the ladies will be ending their three-year hiatus in 2012 for a 10-year anniversary tour. A lot has changed over the past decade (from left):

      KIMBERLEY WALSH

      Then

      20-year-old occasional actress from Bradford.

      Now

Presenter of Suck My Pop on the music channel Viva, the face (and hair) of Schwarzkopf, and columnist with OK! magazine.

      CHERYL COLE

      Then

Three years after leaving school aged 16, Cheryl Tweedy was working as a waitress in Newcastle.

      Now

A British national treasure with two consecutive number one solo albums, a high profile marriage and divorce from footballer Ashley Cole, the star of the X Factor judging panel with eyes on US TV, the face of L’Oreal, and a giant pop brand.

      SARAH HARDING

      Then

A recent entrant into FHM’s “High Street Honeys 2002”, Harding was recording dance tracks and touring the pub and social club circuit.

      Now

Recently engaged to DJ Tom Crane, she has earned the nickname “Hardcore Harding” for her exuberant nightclub-hopping antics.

      NICOLA ROBERTS

      Then

In a dance school in Cheshire, and part of a girl group called The 5 Musketeers .

      Now

Creator of “Dainty Doll”, a makeup range for women with fair skin, Roberts has also lobbied for legislation tightening restrictions on sunbeds and made a documentary on the dangers of tanning. Recently signed solo deal with Sony.

      NADINE COYLE

      Then

Kicked out of the Irish reality TV show Popstars for lying about her age, she was encouraged by Louis Walsh to enter the British version.

      Now

Decamped to California where her family runs a pub called Nadine’s Irish Mist. Engaged to the retired American football player Jason Bell, her solo career pretty much flopped last year.

Sounds like Sarah and Nuhdeen were better off before the band

I'm looking forward to Sarah's inevitable sex tape: "Hardcore XXX Harding".

Well I'm glad there's some hope of them reforming.

The 5 Musketeers What a cheesey name for a band!!

But who knows if this is even true? For it to be a true 10 year anniversary, they'd need to start at the end of 2012, cos they didn't form until the end of November 2002.
                I've now met Dean Ambrose FOUR TIMES - 28/03/15, 02/04/16, 20/08/16 & 01/04/17!!

I wouldn't be so sure. I think it's dependent on how well she does stateside, which to be honest I don't see her having much musical success.

I think its inevitable she'll be massive personally :(
With Simon Cowell and the X Factor on her side especially. Her solo music in the UK wasn't thatttt good, but it was still HUGE.

WELL, with the Cheryl side of things completely changed, I suggest she ditches the X Factor brand completely and Girls Aloud make a new album in time for Christmas

I GENUINELY thought it would be a fairytale for Cheryl in America. Its actually scary how much influence The X Factor has in the media and the charts IMO
