Is this the only Gwen thread *shocked

I can't wait for the No Doubt album it should be finished they've done 10 songs according to her already. Then I want another solo record I wonder what it'll sound like she could do anything

She looks absolutely amazing on that cover. I miss her so much. I would love new solo album from her but I know it won't happen. But there is still No Doubt

I was shocked as well, when I couldn't find one! She definitely deserves her own topic.

I miss the days when Lady GaGa was still named Gwen Stefani

Looking forward to the new No Doubt album too.

I adore Gwen Stefani. Was tweeting about her earlier funnily enough

SO wish they'd hurry up with the new record! IMO the longer they leave it, the harder it is to get back into the old work ethic.

Gwen thread and I am not there, impossible!

My first obsession when I started getting into music seriously. I remember playing Return Of Saturn CD so much, that it used to turn dangerously hot.

Followed her like crazy in her solo career too. But her dormancy made me lost interest, and I don't even remember the last time I played a solo song of hers. But, No Doubt albums are still on the top of my playlists.

Cant wait for more No Doubt albums.

I love this woman, her solo albums are fantastic and her work in No Doubt is, for the most part, great as well.

I love her Elle shoot! She always looks so youthful!

I really like a few of No Doubt's records, but at this point in time I would definitely prefer a solo Gwen album. They are just so much more fun and she's amazing on her own!

But I would be happy with a No Doubt album too.

Do you guys think she's ever had surgery, or it just naturally youthful?

I know. I think everybody loves her (she made it to #5 in the top female chart, and #15 the next time), but she is not active at all musically.

I haven't seen much love for a girl like Gwen, BUT she is not active, and that's why people don't really comment on her. I deeply fell in love with her 2 albums, both amazing.. I wish they could hurry up (No Doubt) and make it big again, I am sure they will!

IMO Everyone loves her, and they remember how great her 2 albums were... it's just her breaks between records

I find Lady Gaga a reincarnation of Gwen Stefani, their only difference being Gwen paying more attention to the technical aspects of her music while Gaga going for the spiritual side of things. Gwen also seems to be more confident and accomplished with her music as she really pushes herself and tries new things, case in point the craziness of What You Waiting For, Bubble Pop Electric, and The Sweet Escape just to name a few. Lady Gaga's idea of experimenting however is dabbling in other previously popular genres.

Which is precisely why Gwen's music is in a league of its own in terms of creativity and amazingness!

I've been listening to both of her solo albums loads recently. They both sound so fresh still.

I think Gwen is one of the best pop artists of the last 20 years. She's so versatile and has tried like all the genres. For my generation, before the Rihanna's, Lady GaGa's, Katy Perry's etc, it was Gwen Stefani pushing the boundaries of music and style!

I have a new favorite poster.

If all the pop music out there had the versatility as that of Gwen's solo albums, I would have liked that genre a lot more.

I just cherish her two eras so much. Fun, catchy, great music, cool imagery and style. Finest moments of the noughties.

I adore the slower tracks on 'The Sweet Escape'. I think although her really fun uptempo's will go down as her memorable solo hits, she really shone on songs like '4 In The Morning' and 'Cool'.

I agree with Cool but 4 In The Morning always has been in the shadows of Early Winter!

Considering what great and influential albums LAMB and The Sweet Escape were, I really wonder why they were never sold more and never got the image of "successful" albums!

In fact, L.A.M.B. is considered a very successful album. Gwen hasn't been active since many years, so you might feel she didn't achieve enough success. But 7.5 million of LAMB and 3.5 million of TSE is definitely a very big achievement.

More than the sales, its the impact her music had on Pop music that truly depicts the success of her solo career.

This is so true! I read so many interviews with new artists and I think the 2 contemporary artists that get the most mentions for influences are Gwen Stefani and Beyoncé.
