I don't know why they couldn't just do what they did in 2007 and wait until everything was sorted to speak up. There's been 2 years of nonsense.

They agreed to tour but you had to register interest for tickets... which they used to judge demand. Yes, they announced that they would visit certain countries, but venues and dates weren’t booked until after they knew about the demand.
Didn't they cancel half of the tour dates back in 2007? I thought they were gonna visit Asia and Australia too. What happened there?
Yes - dates in Asia and Australia were announced but scrapped to do a residency at The o2 in London instead. However I’m not sure if they were ever actually on sale.

What residency? That was never such a info back in 2007. The residency talk started with the 20th anniversary.
