  • M People/Heather Small

I have just recently got into M people, i got their album "bizzare fruit" the other day and it;s amazing

    "open up your heart"
    "search for the hero"
    "sight for sore eyes"
    "padlock my heart"

are the best tracks, they are really really catchy but also very long !

i know the band split up and heather small did a solo album called "proud" which i am after!
    anyone know what she's upto????????????

anyone know the chartings for "M People" for the U.K too please, didn't the single "proud" get to #17 or sommit! it was a great song, her voice is unusual, but that's why i like it!

i bought my dad the proud album. 'proud' is good, but it goes downhill from track 2 onwards lol.
            I know there’s a blue horizon
Somewhere up ahead just waiting for me
But getting there means leaving things behind

None of their songs got to number 1, Boogie, but they had quite a lot of top 10 hits...

Heather Small did sing on a number 1 tho' because she sang on the variOus artists - Perfect Day for Children in Need.

M people, SWV, Queen Latifah, Livin' Joy...
Going through an early-to-mid-90s phase, Boogie?

Heather is still touring despite getting dropped after her album flopped.

Moving On Up became their biggest hit #2.

Their last single 'Dreaming' reached #11.

                          You'll love it Boogie!

Listen out of 'Ease You Troubled Mind' Its the most amazing ballad i've heard! I had tears in my eyes.

I've not listened to it for a while but i'll put it on tomorrow!

                            Vintage!

In these times of self-isolation, I'm filling time by watching some old M People live performances.

OMG she is not having any of that smoke.

That is so funny - can't believe she actually stopped the performance.
