I think I won't watch this for a second year in a row, because I really don't care except for a few nominations. I really hope Taylor can snatch that AOTY. I need to get up at 5am anyways and usually the AOTY awards just gets presented at that time, so maybe I'll can follow that at least.

Don't know if it airs on German TV this year, but it hasn't in previous years. I always tried to find some unofficial sites to watch it or ask fellow UKMixers who were watching as well (who mostly sent unofficial links as well)

I think Silk Sonic refers more to the band they're performing with (the one from the video) since the official credit is also Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak & Silk Sonic.

abi as an AOTY it might make sense for him to be present? I don't see the point in announcing him as a surprise performer, it won't create more hype.

Yeah that was my guess as well I was just wondering if they're actually gonna have people in the audience? Cause I thought the stages are facing each other and it's just the crew members who will be in the middle. Anyways, I don't know. We'll see in a couple of days.

The Superbowl are always shown overseas live, but I've never heard of the Grammys doing that to be honest. In the UK I know they broadcast a trimmed version of the show a couple days later.

They'll definitely be dodgy streams available, we can work together to find a good one.

They used to be broadcasted live at a big german TV programm.. I mean it's in the middle of the night anyway, you don't have much competition but they stopped a few years ago I guess it was to expensive to get the rights

I say that everytime but awards really lost a huge amount of viewers because they don't go with the times and don't live broadcast. If they show adds in between they'll get their money regardless. I mean I get it for the US but for everywhere else they could strengthen their relevance enormously

Personally I could never sit through the whole thing. I watch some performances and that is it. I cannot cope with the US TV of having a ten minute ad break after every 5 minutes of the show.
