I'm surprised to see Hark! so high up, out of all the Christmas tracks, even though it's a pretty solid record.

I am happy to see Cool On You getting some love here. It's a brilliant record.

3 INCREDIBLE remixes back to back. I consider them almost as new songs. SO GOOD.

Clown is amazing - should've been higher.

So many good songs in this batch!

Now That I Know is a taste of what Mariah was offering in her remixes, but in an album track that should have been a single. Even a promo single. Missed opportunity there.

All I Live For just grew and grew on me the more I listened to it. It has a sophistication that is more impressive having come from a young Mariah.

Heartbreaker / If You Should Ever Be Lonely (Junior's Heartbreaker Club Mix) could well have been an Ultimate 11 from me. What Mariah created here, the melody, the mashup, her voice, the backing vocals... just musical art.

Say Somethin' (ft. Snoop Dogg) a song that, yes, I agree does sound mysterious and sensual. There's something interesting about this song.

Cry could have been a 10 from me as I genuinely like it - very well crafted song and Mariah sounds great in it.

All In Your Mind is an interesting one - so catchy even if it's dated. I find myself singing the chorus to myself.

I agree with others who say GYN is annoying. It just doesn't do much for me.

I was low-key hoping Slay Somethin’ would make the main countdown, but its always been real divisive between the lambily so #146 doesn’t surprise me at all (tasteless foos ).

Literally the song that made me a stan. I remember catching the video on BET (the whole month that it was on ) and thinking, “jdsghihkkjf this song is BOMB - so mysterious, sensual, and euphoric. There’s nothing out there that sounds like it! I wonder if her whole album is like this?” Ofc I was already aware of (and loved) all the other singles but for some reason it was SS that made me pull the trigger. I loved the album but more importantly, I got reacquainted with GOAT and the rest is history.

Get Your Number and Say Somethin’ are two of her best songs of the last 15 years. The fact that GOAT Pt. 14 is higher than both.

It’s anyone’s guess what my last 11 is.

When Christmas Comes is so overrated. Very boring tbh.

Say Somethin' should have dropped out long ago, far too high here.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see All In Your Mind so high. It is definitely one of the best on the debut album.

Now That I Know is very energetic, I enjoy it everytime it shows up as it lifts me up.

Heartbreaker / If You Should Ever Be Lonely (Junior's Heartbreaker Club Mix): I don't generally like the Dance Remixes. I enjoy them but they are not the type of music I would conciously select to listen to. But this one is amongst her best ones.

Say Somethin' (ft. Snoop Dogg) is a very interesting song imo. It is very different from her and I like she let Neptunes do their thing. And being actually the first thing I listened from Emancipation, as this leaked months prior of It's Like That, everytime this sounds it reminds me the feeling of complete ecstasy of listening something fresh from her after Charmbracelet. I think this is too low but it's logical as many voters were more in favour of pop-ballads.

You're Mine (Eternal) I like it but it's another not so inspired song from her, kind of following a formulaic approach. Still, it's a good song.

Don't Forget About Us (Desert Storm Remix) [ft. Fabolous & Styles P) a great remix.

You're Mine (Eternal) is a filler track. GYN is so irritating, I was shocked when it was released as a single. I have always like Say Somethin”, though.

For me, You're Mine (Eternal) is the best song from The Elusive Chanteuse, even better than Beautiful. Without the song, I would have considered the album utter failure. It's a cute song. It should definitely enter Mariah's Top 100 in the years to come.

I would consider GTFO a single, but not The Distance, it got a lyric video and a Jimmy Fallon presentation but that was it. I don't think that small push would make anyone rate it higher for being a single... With You was probably the only big official single.

Well, it was a promo single like GTFO and it even had a lyric video.

Official singles - With you, A no no ( originally a promo single, later an official single)
Promo singles - GTFO, The Distance

Anyway I love The Distance and good to see it do well here

The Distance is way too high. I wonder if it would have been this high if it hadn't been a single.

HATEU is one of my favorite Mariah songs. I also really love the Jump Smokers Remix. And then to think I didn't like the song when I first heard it. It really had to grow on me.

With You is one of my favorite songs of the Caution album. Only Caution itself ranks higher if I had to choose the best songs of the album.

Faded like HATEU this had to grow on me. But when it did, I fell deeply in love with this song. One of my favorites.

Through The Rain has beautiful lyrics and it was nice to see Mariah shine again after the Glitter album. It brought Mariah back high on the charts here and the video is one of my all time favorites. She also did some great tv-performances to promote the song.

From the bubbling under, I think they are ok where they are. Maybe I'm surprised some are that high in comparison to previously announced songs, but it's ok.

The Distance is a little below my expectations. I was rooting for it to reach Top40 at least, as it's Caution in tis finest form imo.
HATEU is nice. It was announced earlier but had a problem with one vote and it jumped 20 positions thanks to that correction, showing in fact how close they are one another!
With You was very nice but I am surprised it's higher than The Distance... probably being a single benefited it? The song is cute and nice.
Faded is a song that sticks to my head everytime I hear it!!! Yesterday I prepared this post and went to bed. Didn't even listen to it, just post the name and pic and submit, but that was enough for me to wake up today with a "faaaadeeee,,,, faaaded..." in repeat in my head!
Through The Rain is nice but other songs are much better. Surprised it's this high, it belongs more to the 80s (as in the hot100)

The Distance which belongs in my honorable mention, is #55? Hmm. Well I guess there's other song from Caution that ranked higher. I'll be expecting that. Because Caution is my favorite album after Butterfly.

Props to Kween for releasing a dated 90s Karen ballad at a time when vocals didn’t matter anymore on the charts, but Through the Glitter pretty much killed Charmy on arrival. Even internationally where the song did ok, the album still flopped to oblivion.
