    #24 Emotions
    #30 Can't Let Go
    #57 Make It Happen
    #102 If It's Over
#108 Till the End of Time
    #111 And You Don't Remember
    #175 So Blessed
    #198 You're So Cold
    #225 To Be Around You
    #269 The Wind

Only three top100 for such an iconic album! Emotions, the lead single, is the top ranked at what it seems a VERY low position: #24. No non-singles in the top100 seems the explanation of this album at #10...

    #216 If We
    #276 Twister
#283 Don't Stop Funkin' 4 Jaimaica) [ft. Mystikal]

One Top20, but only 2 Top100. Highest non-single is in fact the top ranked song, Lead the Way at #16. LEad single, Us#2 and top seller in Us back in 2001, only manages a #155 position! And promo single Don't Stop... flops hard at #283.

    Oooh - interesting.

Reflecting changing tastes, or perhaps evolving appreciation for some songs.

I would imagine many different people voting - those two lists capture some of Mariah's best songs ever.

I’m on holiday with poor mobile reception so I’ll have to catch up with the last few pages when I get home but I just want to say thank you to
Leo and bm08 for all your hard work. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the countdown and for me, WBT is a deserving number 1

I may jump into the Madonna but:
    - I think we should wait until the Artist Survivor is over
    - I may be inclined to wait until october 2022, kicking off votes in july, to celebrate Everybody's 40th anniversary

Yeah! My greatest discovery from The Rate would be Almost Home. It put Mariah on a whole new level as far as I'm concerned. And there are songs that I haven't heard yet. I haven't even listened to The Rarities yet. Crazy!

We Belong Together - This song was released in March 2005. But my job had me busy all throughout the year. So I had no time to enjoy music. My job only gave me pain and misery. And I had no idea how Mariah was finding success in the music biz again. But when Touch My Body came out, I had free time again. I was able to enjoy the era. But comparing the two now, WBT is a monster hit!

I liked that the song started with the piano. And this song deserved the crown for the biggest song of the 2000s, and this thread... even without the whistle dahhling.

TR(BIT) - I think this sounds pure R&B HipHop. And some fans love these type of songs more. Hence, its high ranking. The most important thing is that it's a song from The Butterfly, spread your wings and learn to fly. Therefore, I got no complaints. These might grow on me...or not.

I want to give a standing O to the lyrics as well. There's a story behind it. According to Wiki, in year 2020, Mariah revealed that it's about her relationship with the baseball player whom she first kissed on the roof of his apartment building. When Mariah writes from her own experience, the process becomes natural.

Even though I ranked them differently, the top 8 was really deserving.
