It's appropriate to kick this off on Valentine's Day as we salute the ladies we love.

This is our 8th iteration of this countdown and it's been a while since our last one, which concluded in 2019, almost four years ago. That's right, the last time this happened, we didn't know what COVID was, and Theresa May was the prime minister of the UK!

Let's hope for a big turnout - we got nearly 100 voters in the last run! Hopefully, I won't have to pester you, but trust me, I'll launch another annoying promo campaign if I have to!

(And yes, I know I left your favorite singer out of the visual - look, there were only so many spots ok, and look, I didn't even include Sia.)

Eligibility:

• Acts are eligible provided they have released one single as the primary artist.
• Acts are separate; i.e. Beyoncé is separate from Destiny's Child
• Gender-fluid acts are eligible.
• Bands and groups are eligible only if they contain ALL female members. Hence, No Doubt would not be eligible as there are male members, but Gwen Stefani would be eligible for her solo work.

Voting:

• While there isn't a nomination period, you are free to use this thread to campaign (within reason; don't flood the thread.)
• The minimum number of acts you can vote for is 20, the maximum you can vote for is 50 - I will not accept any lists with 19 or fewer votes - your list must include between 20 & 50 different acts.
• Your #1 ranked act will receive 50 points, regardless of whether you send a 50 act list, and your #20 act will receive 31 points, and your #50 act will receive 1 point. Please aim to send a top 50 if you can though.
• You may amend your votes through the voting period, but once the deadline arrives, your entry is final.

Submission:

• When you are ready to submit, you can go ahead and do so at any time by sending me a PM of your list. You can revise your list at any time, but I will accept changes to your submission no later than 5PM Mountain time on March 31 (I believe that's midnight UK time)
• Please be mindful of the above format. Do not list your favorite artist as 01, it makes it very confusing.
