  • I saw B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, S Club and Liberty X in February and it was genuinely the best concert I've ever been to! Surrounded by a bunch of pop music lovers my age reliving our childhoods. Plus I had a front row seat, I literally had the best seat in the arena

I'm also seeing Little Mix at the end of this month woohoo!!! I have a VIP package with merch and I get to see their soundcheck and they do a Q&A before the show. I had a GA ticket but with my broken shoulder that's not feasible so I got my ticket switched and now I have the best seat in the arena again

Plus last week I bought a ticket to see Adam Lambert & Queen for a second time!! That show isn't till February though. I got VIP for that too, it was so expensive lol. But my seat is on the floor so woo

My list of shows is now:

    2000 - Five
    2001 - Blue
    2006 - Girls Aloud
    2010 - Lady Gaga
    2012 - Lady Gaga
    2014 - Queen & Adam Lambert
    2016 - Adam Lambert
    2016 - Melanie Martinez
    2017 - B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, S Club, Liberty X
    2017 - Little Mix
    2018 - Queen & Adam Lambert

I'll have seen Adam L three times after that last show
    I've now met Dean Ambrose FOUR TIMES - 28/03/15, 02/04/16, 20/08/16 & 01/04/17!!

                • Re: The Concert Thread

I’d list my musicals too but... I see one a week I’ve seen Wicked about 40 times now.

                  • Re: The Concert Thread

                    And that's basically it.

                    • Janet Jackson (London, 2011)
The Big Reunion (B*Witched, Atomic Kitten, 5ive, Liberty X, Honeyz) (Birmingham, 2013)
                      J Cole (Birmingham, 2014)
                      Madonna (Tokyo, 2016)
                      Mariah Carey (Birmingham, 2016)
                      Ariana Grande (Birmingham, 2017)
                      Celine Dion (Birmingham, 2017)
                      Lady Gaga (Birmingham, 2018)

J Cole, Celena and Gaga Lady were all for free. I don't think I'd pay for any of their shows. The act I most want to see is Spice Girls.

                      Musicals I think is...
Beauty and The Beast (Bradford, 2006?)
The Wizard of Oz (Leeds, 2007?)
                      Matilda (Warwick, 2010)
                      Thriller (Bradford, 2013)
                      The Bodyguard (Birmingham, 2015)
                      Aladdin (New York, 2015)
                      Wicked (London, 2016)

Can't remember if there are any more

                          Gonna add Glennis Grace soon.
I have seen her before, performing a few songs, as she was just one of the performers.
But later this year I'll go to a "real" concert, where she will pay tribute to Whitney Houston.

                                                  • I was on James Newton Howard concert and to be honest I was very disapointed.. First of all because of seat reduction I had worse seat. And than there was that unfortunate track choices.. Tracks like Harve Dent theme from The Dark Knight or theme from Pretty Woman are really unnecessary. Instead there should be paid more attention to Lady in the Water soundtrack.. Movie is not that great but the music is outstanding. Or Waterworld. Again, movie is not that great (altough I liked it) but the heroic theme is worth playing with live orchestra. 4/10.
