WHITNEY

Surely Whitney was blessed to us from an alien power. She had a voice that us mere mortals could only dream to possess. Divine and angelic, Whitney could turn a simple phrase, even a simple word, into anything from a caress to a statement. She is my favorite singer of all time.

A decade past her untimely death, we might dwell on the tragedy and what might have been. Compared to our other favorite divas, Whitney left us with a smaller discography, which makes the songs all the more precious.

The list below is mostly from wikipedia with a couple additions from me. It contains the tracks from all her studio albums. Some notes:

• The Christmas album will likely be cannon fodder, so I'm considering moving them to a separate survivor later this year for this Christmas. Should I do that or keep them in for completeness?
• Live versions - I've mostly excluded these, but feel free to suggest any you'd like to include. There are two, "Home", and "A Song For You," that were never released other than as a live version.
• I've only included one remix, for My Love is Your Love, because it's iconic. But if there are other remixes we should check out, feel free to suggest them.

Any other suggestions are appreciated. I'll tag people below who I think are interested based on if they posted in the Higher Love thread , Whitney's artist thread, or if it would annoy them and delight me, but lmk if you do/don't want tags. I'll also use this tag for the first round.
