Yay we’re back, hope you are out of your busy period now and that there aren’t anymore delays.

GROUP A:

5 Chaka Khan - La Flamme - I loved this one, the chorus is unusual but it’s catchy and I love her voice.

4 Cathy Davey - In He Comes - Another lovely track, gave me Regina Spektor vibes.

4 Taylor Swift - mirrorball - Lovely song, the sentiment and feel of the song definitely grabbed me.

3 Dawid Podsiadło - W Dobrą Stronę - Catchy and his voice sounds strong on this one.

2 Oasis - Wonderwall - Overplayed but undeniable classic song.

1 Livin' Joy - Follow The Rules - Bop but this was a solid group.

GROUP B:

5 Darren Hayes - Pop!ular - Very catchy and I really liked the tongue in cheek video.

4 Thumpers - Galore - I really liked this, very infectious with a great indie hook.

3 Erykah Badu - No Love - Not among my faves on the album but still pretty groovy.

3 The fin. - Outer Ego - Not as instant for me as their other songs so far but good, the instrumental later on in the song reminded me a bit of something from Gorillaz which lifted it.

2 Toni Braxton - How Could an Angel Break My Heart - Sounds like a song from a Disney film, it was nice enough but not very memorable.

1 AJR - The Trick - The high pitched vocal parts were interesting but wasn’t feeling this song overall.

4 Dawid Podsiadło - W Dobrą Stronę - This had a nice retro vibe to it that I enjoyed
4 Cathy Davey - In He Comes - I've enjoed other entries by her more than this one, but I did like this once it got going
3 Oasis - Wonderwall - Played to death, but a classic song
2 Taylor Swift - mirrorball - This was a little mellow; maybe in the right mood, it would be a 5 tho.
1 Chaka Khan - La Flamme - I wish we could more live Chaka entries like the last one; this sounds dated.

5 POLO & PAN - Mexicali - As expected something interesting, this will need a few listens to absorb as a whole but the instrumental was so good and progressive.

4 Filipe Sambado - Imagina - I enjoyed the gentle melody and instrumental, really nice.

3 Anastacia - Time - This was one of my initial faves back when I first got the album but over time I’ve tired of it and I think the chorus gets a bit grating.

3 Lexie Liu - RRR - This was catchy, didn’t stand out on the first listen, I can see this growing more on me though.

2 Ciara - G is for Girl (A-Z) - Not bad but it really isn’t something I’d want to listen to again.

1 Pandora's Box - I've Been Dreaming Up a Storm Lately - LOL, I liked the storytelling and the windy sound in the background but where’s the music? How can I rank it?

5 Toni Braxton - How Could an Angel Break My Heart - One of my favorites from Toni
4 Erykah Badu - No Love - A bit on the long side, but I didn't get tired of this vibe!
3 The fin. - Outer Ego - Enjoyed this and thought this had a nice backing melody
3 Darren Hayes - Pop!ular - This was a clever video; catchy!
2 Thumpers - Galore - Not terrible, but it's just kind of there. The overlayed vocals make this feel more like an instrumental.
1 AJR - The Trick- I thought this was one of those sped-up tracks that you get in TikTok, but no, it's the actual song! I gave up on it midway through.

5 Lorde - Green Light - I really thought this was infectious!

4 Allie X - That's So Us - Very sweet and upbeat, reminded me of something Carly Rae Jepson would sing.

4 Hatchie - Don't Leave Me in the Rain - Really enjoyed this one, one of my faves from her so far I’d say.

3 Beyonce - Start Over - Vocally powerful, I quite liked this and the quiet slow down at 2:30 was welcome.

2 Gone West - Confetti - Nice, not eminently melodic as the other songs we’ve heard from them.

1 ZZ Ward - Save My Life - Didn’t do much for me.
