I can't listen to Margaritaville without wanting to sing the lyrics to the Marijuanaville parody (which I'm now wishing I'd thought of in time to nominate it for Matthew's Parody Survivor!). Although I only just discovered that it was sung by Mark Eddie and not by Barenaked Ladies, who I've thought it was for about 20 years!! Apparently it was often mistagged on Limewire etc. (sometimes as BNLs and sometimes as Jack Black), and I've never thought to check as it does really sound like BNLs. I'm going to have to correct my MP3 tagging now. Why were so many MP3s tagged incorrectly back in the day? Although, mistagged songs is how I discovered Jill Sobule (I Kissed A Girl was mistagged as Juliana Hatfield) and Fleming & John (Ugly Girl was mistagged as Jill Sobule), so I'm weirdly kind of grateful too.
