2020 has been one hot mess, and with what looks to be a muted holiday celebration this year, perhaps some holiday music can help amplify the merry. "We need a little Christmas" goes the song - it's from a play called Mame, and the idea is exactly that - in the wake of the 1929 Stock Market crash, they needed a pick-me-up. So I bring you 100 songs, which should be enough to last us until we're much closer to the holidays. Hope this survivor finds you safe and content.

I will start this in the next day or two, but here are the songs from the 2019 album. There was a 2020 album released just over a week ago, but I think this is a more interesting mix of songs. There is no Mariah Carey here... and oh, it looks like I lost half of you, but we all know she would win, so hopefully this will make it more interesting. ROUND 1 RESULTS

The bottom four songs were pretty clear in this round - I've never heard that Petula Clark song in my life and after listening to it, I see why. I agree with matthew that the Burl Ives version is an odd choice. And I think we're all sick to death of counting down the Twelve Days of Christmas. But I have to say I was slightly surprised that N' Sync got eliminated in the first go. I mean, how can you eliminate a song with a video that features Gary Coleman (RIP)

Yeah, a themed Christmas survivor might be something to consider another time instead of an album. Or maybe Leo would want to do an Album Cup for seasonal albums
