I am ready to go to bed so Santa doesn't catch me awake, and over in Europe, you are all already asleep with visions of sugarplums dancing in your head. We'll close the book on these songs until the 2021 holiday season. Our final results are no surprise - The Waitresses got a pity vote from navi at the very end, but Sleigh Ride was a steamroller through this whole competition. It was never in danger, always finishing near the top of the results, and was generally the epitome of jolly for all of us. I am happy to crown the Ronettes the winners, and even if it's in January, I hope you vote to save it in the SOS.

This is difficult.
I love both songs soooo much, but not really in these two versions.
Debbie Gibson's Sleigh Ride is so much more festive as it doesn't leave out the best part "at the fire place while we watch the chestnuts pop pop pop..."
And Kylie Minogue's version of Christmas Wrappin' sounds much more Christmassy to me.
But overall, I think Sleigh Ride is the better song, so I'll vote for Sleigh Ride to win.Leave a comment:

FINAL
Well, Christmas Eve is upon us, which means it's time to wrap up our Christmas survivor with the final two standing - not the two I envisioned when I started this survivor, but definitely two songs I love to hear each season. Both worthy winners! Thanks to everyone for participating, especially those who have been there since we began this all back in early November - that's a lot of Christmas to deal with.

SEMI-FINAL RESULTS
Personally, I was torn between Christmas Wrapping and Jingle Bell Rock, so I feel a bad that Jingle Bell Rock falls a little short, and it will take 4th. In 3rd place is a song I never thought would make the top 10, much less near contend for the title, 2000 Miles.
