Previously on ARIA #1 Singles Survivor... Ace Of Base won 1993's list with All That She Wants, while Ugly Kid Joe went to the SoS with Cat's in the Cradle. This time we're headed to 2010's list.

Rihanna notched up an impressive 3 Entries, with Bruno Mars not far behind her with 2 #1's. (will.i.am also featuring on Usher's song and a #1 with The BEP). Also this list sees the return of both Who's That Girl and Grenade, who both leapfrogged each other to also appear at the start of 2011's list. Guy Sebastian was the sole Australian artist to top the singles chart in 2010, so He will get the customary Aussie safe pass through Rd 1.

ARIA #1 Singles of 2010

Eminem ft. Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie

Two of the collabs are out that round, OMG & Love The Way You Lie. These two songs were the top two positions on the EOY Singles chart of 2010, with 6 consecutive weeks at #1 each during the year. OMG between Just Say So and California Girls in May/June, then LTWYL taking over in July-August where Dynamite replaced it.

Rihanna had 2 other #1's during the year as aforementioned. This was Eminem's first since 'We Made You' the previous year (preceding single from Recovery (#1 album and #3 on the EOY ARIA Albums Chart 2010) 'Not Afraid' peaked #4 acc to wiki). His next #1 would also be a collab with Rihanna in 2013 on 'The Monster' ('Berserk' going top 5 on the ARIA single chart in the interim).

OMG was Usher's first ARIA #1 single since 2004's 'Yeah!', he has made several other Top Ten appearances, Including 'More' (#7) from the parent album Raymond v. Raymond (#2 on the albums chart, following Here I Stand peaking at #1 in 2008), and 'DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love' (ft. Pitbull, #3), from the Versus EP released mid era and also on a deluxe version of Raymond v. Raymond.

As a solo artist, Will.i.am has posted several other Top 5's as the featured artist, including 'Beep' (with Pussycat Dolls, #3), 'Fergalicious' (with Fergie, #4), '3 Words' (with Cheryl Cole, #5), 'Hall Of Fame' (with The Script, #4), and as lead artist on 'Scream & Shout' (ft. Britney Spears, #2), and 'It's My Birthday' (ft. Cody Wise, #4; also possibly boosted by being a mentor on The Voice Australia that season in 2014, he also appeared with winner Anja Nissen and Cody Wise again on her single 'I'm So Excited' (#42)).

Both 'This Is Love' (ft. Eva Simons) and '#thatPOWER' (ft. Justin Bieber) were also top tens (#7 & #6 respectively) from Will.i.am's solo album #willpower (#9 peak on the Albums chart acc. to Wikipedia).
