Finishing in 6th is the last remaining Stock, Aitken & Waterman song on the list, Better The Devil You Know.

Released in the early months of the 1990s, the single marked a new 'sexier' direction for the girl-next-door image previously portrayed, and a slightly more mature pop/dance sound which reflected Kylie's own independent music tastes at the time. It peaked at #2 in the UK and #4 in Australia.

The song's title came about from a comment Pete Waterman made about Kylie's announcement to leave Neighbours and her new relationship with Michael Hutchence, as he was worried it would all go wrong for her.

Coincidentally, the song came about when Kylie asked SAW to write her a song like "C'Mon And Get My Love" by Cathy Dennis, who went to co-write Kylie's biggest seller.
