In a shocking turn of events, we have the same end result as the previous All Saints survivor from 9 years ago! Here, Pure Shores beats Never Ever to the title of winner, with 14 votes to 12.
In second, Never Ever - the group's first #1 single, although it took a whole 9 weeks to get there, it picked up two BRIT awards in 1998 for Best Single and Best Video. The song is the third-best-selling single by a girl group in the UK, behind Wannabe and Shout Out To My Ex, with around 1.6m sales.
And our winner is Pure Shores, their February 2000 comeback after just over a year away, it debuted at #1 and spent two weeks on top. Developed for the soundtrack of the Leonardo Di Caprio movie, The Beach, it was produced by William Orbit who co-wrote it with Shaznay Lewis. Lewis was told to write the lyrics by using just a 40-second clip of the movie and Orbit's backing track as inspiration - she did so on a flight to LA, but lost them, and had to re-write them when arriving at the studio from her recent memory.
