Aqua and Lighthouse Family bow out.

Doctor Jones snuck in the last couple days of 1997's list and held #1 for 7 week's total into February 1998, between Chumbawamba and Celine Dion. The parent album Aquarium was #1 for 2 weeks in January, Ending the year at #2 in front of the Titanic Soundtrack and Behind Matchbox 20 on the 1998 ARIA EOY Albums Chart. 2000's Aquarius peaked at #15.

Doctor Jones followed Barbie Girl, also reached #1. Other singles from the album to peak in the ARIA top ten included 'Lollipop (Candyman)' at #3, and 'Turn Back Time' at #10. Doctor Jones finished up fourth on the 1997 Survivor and became that lists SoS Representative.

High was #1 for a week in September between Goo Goo Dolls and Aerosmith. It finished up just outside the Top 10 EOY Singles at #11. The parent album, 1997's Postcards From Heaven, reached #2 and Went Platinum on the ARIA CHarts whilst all of their Studio albums, Including their 2019 comeback, have gone Top 10 in the UK.

Iris is the only eliminee that round as Shania and Offspring tie in second last. The song held #1 for 5 Weeks in Aug-Sep between Ricky Martin and Lighthouse Family. It came in at #3 on the EOY ARIA Singles chart for 1998.

The Album Dizzy Up the Girl peaked at #17 on the ARIA Albums Chart, while the follow up Single 'Slide' reached #29 and went Gold.
