  • Gallant - Neptune (EP)

Gallant is dropping a new EP soon called Neptune. He left both Mind of a Genius and Warner Records last year and now he's being distributed through EMPIRE. Above is the MV for the song, "Comeback." Good stuff as usual from him.

Never heard of him before. Nice song and video. Gonna give a listen to his previous works when possible.

I'm gonna check this out later. A big fan of his first two albums.

UnapologeticKenny Make sure to check out "Bourbon" & "Sweet Insomnia" (feat. 6lack). His best songs for sure!

Released a new song today called "Relapse." Gallant mentioned that this was originally going to be the b-side to "Comeback" but he decided to release this separately so it could stand on his own.

"Comeback" is straight up 00s's Usher what the heck. Also I noticed his tone is kinda similar to Craig David's on this particular song.

Listening to the whole album now.

I was literally thinking this yesterday. It would have been a great soundscape for Usher if he ever made a decent...comeback.

Honestly I really have no idea what it is with Usher these days. He just seems lost artistically & creatively like idk, which is a real shame cause I think he still looks really fresh, young, cool & relatively popular with the younger generation as well, but musically? Eh.

But yeah this song would've been great for Usher's comeback. Maybe not as a lead but a cute little album track to reminiscent of his older sound.

I like it. It reminds me a bit of Usher. However, I do think it drags a bit somewhere in the middle. It's worth a replay though!
