Mary J. Blige has teased that her first album in four years is set to be released in November.

The 50-year-old music icon teased during an Instagram Live with DJ-and-rapper D-Nice this week that the delayed record is finally coming out this winter, and it will mark her first studio effort since 2017's 'Strength of a Woman'.

Mary said in the studio: “It’s about to go crazy over here."

A single is due to be released next month.

I have found her output a bit stale in recent years to be honest. I enjoyed The London sessions album as it was a departure from her typical sound.

I wasn't the biggest fan of either of the singles but the title track was the better of the two. I'm not sure what to expect anymore other than I hope these are not the strongest tracks on offer. Bring back No More Drama era Mary!!

This is actually way better than what I expected. I can’t believe she went with 2 of the weakest songs to start the era.
No Idea is a great opener. Wish she released it instead of Amazing.
Here With Me is a highlight, so happy they’ll go for this (I assume it’s the next single?). I hope it becomes a spring hit for her.
On Top, Love Without The Heartbreak and Failing in Love are such a good trio. They offer the best vocals and productions of the album. I also enjoy Need Love with Usher.

I'm not getting what I usually get from a Mary J album. This is a huge contrast to her 2000s albums and didn't grab me like those did. I really loved what she did on My Life II and don't know what happened.....
