It'll be interesting to see how the album does. All of her previous albums were backed by massive hit singles and they still didn't sell too well.

So each tour ticket sold comes with the album?

They must've been expecting some bad numbers.

Only female albums that outsold Prism since its release were 1989 and 25. Her albums sold pretty well, 5,23m average per album is amazing

yes. but only the redeemed tickets (from US) will be counted to billboard.
they give the option like "you can get the album too, physical or digital. choose it here"
and If you don't do it, no sales.
most people actually ignore it. don't bother to do it.
around 20~30% turn out I guess.

I think it depends on the fans. Red Hot Chili Peppers benefited greatly from bundle thing, their album will soon be certified gold in US.

Come thru with the visual! I'm confused with the art direction for this era though. The visual for "Chained to the Rhythm" promotional image (the pink one) was stunning! And then we had "Bon Appetit" with the weird ass artwork and now this one which feels a bit futuristic-ish.

oh I mean MDNA which had 180k bundle sales in first week.
RH had more than that, but less than 10k in 'first week' because not all the dates went sale on the release week.

Yeah...especially with all of these perfomance she has (the billboard awards and SNL).

I'm excited. I might go see if the tickets are cheap.
