...and both artists now reached Gold (100 000) status with the albums!

        Robbie Williams
        67k + 35,4k = 102,4k

        Coldplay
        81k + 22,2k = 103,2k

Robbie is on course of 45k sales this week. Amazing!

The Christmas Present is Number 1 in UK, Australia and Austria!!
          More to come.

          Amazing career for Mr Williams.

Robbie Williams’s new festive collection The Christmas Present takes the Number 1 spot on this week’s Official Albums Chart, matching a UK chart record held by Elvis Presley.

After missing out on the top spot to Coldplay last week, The Christmas Present lifts 2 to 1 with 53,000 chart sales. It becomes Robbie’s thirteenth Number 1 album, matching Elvis’s record as the solo act with the most chart-toppers in UK chart history. The overall record is held by The Beatles with 15.

"Thank you to everybody who supported it. It's an incredible achievement - it means more to me than any of the other albums I've ever had. Come on!"

Robbie’s total of chart-topping albums across his solo work and records released with Take That is 17. It places him joint third as the act with the most Number 1s across their catalogue, behind Paul McCartney (22 across solo work and The Beatles) and John Lennon (18 across solo and The Beatles), and joint with George Harrison.

The album is amazing, though it's a bit longer, he really delivered. It would be nice to have a Christmas film using most of the songs.
