This album felt like it took forever to go through, which, to me, is not good.

The standout tracks from first listen is Morning, Killa and We Got Love.

Others were good too but those the titles I caught first listen.

      These 5 songs totally smashed:

      - KILLAH
      - BAD
      - BARE WIT ME
      - STILL
      - TRY AGAIN

Not too fond of SHOOT IT UP / WRONG BITCH. Definitely the album‘s low point.

This album is a whole ass vibe! I've been making "stank face" since it started playing. She sounds great! I'm currently stuck on Boomin!

Update: I don't care what it takes, but she needs to get Rihanna on Bad.

I get the opinion of the album being so long...it's a valid critique.

But y'all I've been WAITING for a fav of mine to drop a rapper/Chris Brown like album full of tracks. WHEW. Thanks girlie!! I am full.

The album falls in line with her first two albums (minus a WTP type bop) which is fine by me.

Lemme see if I can narrow it down to 5. I was stanning hard for the album and wasn't even half way done smh.

        Top 5:

        Lowkey
        Morning
        Bad
        Shoot It Up
        Ever Ever.

Next listen I need to keep the sections in mind. I forgot all about them.

I don’t get the sections at all. Killa and Bad are one of a kind and apparently belong to different studios.

I desperately hope we get a DELUXE with extended versions of Bare Wit Me and Bad. Seriously, these are the songs I want to have on repeat until I get sick of them.

Wow, 23 tracks and not a bad song in sight. Incredible! My early faves are: "Wake Up Love", "Lowkey", "Morning", "Lose Each Other", "Concrete", "Friends", "How You Want It?", and "We Got Love". I honestly didn't dislike a single, though, which is wild.

Apparently there’s a deluxe edition with 29 tracks on it. Can’t find the tracklist anywhere and it seems that it’s only available in the U.S.

I have yet to connect with Lowkey. Y‘all seem to like it so much.

I dont think ill turn back to play this in full tbh.

But if songs come on shuffle they definitely will hit.

Still went by unnoticed by all of y‘all. I‘m shook.

It was one of the standouts on initial listen.

This is one of the songs that drags for me.

May have to add Concrete to my top 5 now.

Lose Each Other too. It makes me a little emotional. Relatable content atm smh.

also my favorite studio of this album is B hands down. All the songs in that section are 5 stars to me.

                          My ranking.

                          1. Studio B
                          2. Studio A
                          3. Studio L
                          4. Studio U
                          5. Studio M (the bonus track studio lol)

I think that studio concept is whack, so I am sticking with the actual songs and mix em up as I please.

The full body of work has finally connected.

I‘ve been playing THE ALBUM almost non-stop and it‘s on its way to become the best urban album of 2020 alongside JoJo‘s Good To Know ( abi Watch out, you got some votes for the next album competition!).

I caught myself whoring out to HDYWI today as I‘ve been listening to this sassy bop all day.

Played this last night and liked it. Played it again and yes, I'll keep playing it. It's a very vibey experience. Does get a bit samey, but the vibe is soooooooooooo goood. Also WTF about that studio concept? It doesn't come off at all that songs are in batches of 4/5. LOL. I've read the thread and when I saw that I couldn't even grasp there's a concept that divides this into 5 sections. IT DOESN'T FEEL LIKE IT HAS 2 DISTINCT PARTS GIRL!

And I don't get all the complaints about the album being long. It has 23 tracks but the runtime is only 77 min. For a LDR fan that's quite a low ratio of songs vs length (NFR! 14 tracks 67 min, LFL 16 tracks 72 min, Honeymoon 14 tracks 65 min, Ultraviolence 11 tracks 51 min). If anything this is just a good amount of pretty good bite sized tasty late night desserts.

Bad is such a banger wow.

There isn't it, which is sad since it's her first album without having one. She released it out of nowhere like 2-3 days before the official date so I expected it.
Maybe in the near future but I don't think it's happening.

^There will definitely be some kind of physical release down the road. Usually it takes a while with abrupt releases like this one. Fiona Apple's new album also didn't have any physicals at first (and the first batch ships in July).
