I love it but not as much as Ology. Celine, Sabrina Claudio duet, Sharpest Edges, Hurt and the title track are my favorites.

I only played it once tbh, and it didn't impress me that much. I thought Ology was way better than this.

I have to give this another spin today tho!!!

@abi I remember not liking his previous stuff. This seems like too straightforward Pop/R&B. I prefer more alternative, PBRNB stuff, darker, more spacey R&B variants. This sounds too Usher/Chris Brown for me. Give me Anderson Paak type of stuff instead. If he has a Kaytranada feat here I'm interested though.

"Sleep On It" is getting some radio play on the adult R&B stations, which is pretty cool.

If there is justice in this world, the title track with 6LACK would become a hit in 2020.

WAIT.

I'm enjoying this WAY MORE than I remembered my first spin.

Sharpest Edges, Paper Tulips, Sleep On It and Celine are the best tracks by far.

I liked his song with Sabrina Claudio a few months ago!

This sounds really nice tho, had no idea it came out!

Gravity I think for me Ology has better highlights ("Bourbon" is his best song ever tbh) while this one I find to be a little more consistent overall.

I see. This album indeed sounds more "commercial" compared to his previous album. Not sure if Usher/Chris Brown would be the best comparison though but I get what you're saying. Ology was far darker and definitely has a little bit of that high/'spacey' vibes but still pretty much quite melodic.

Bourbon is one of the best songs ever, doubt he'll ever top this.

While I agree this one is more consistent, Ology was still much stronger based on individual songs alone. But you could make a literally perfect album mixin the highlights from the two.

Finally got round to listen to this. It starts off strong, but I feel like it meanders for a while before picking up near the end again.
late.

I've always had a hard time getting into him (although I love the song with Sinead Harnett), I'll give this another try.

Never heard of him. But it has a really nice sound! I feel it is like 90's R&B I dunnno why...

This Tiny Desk Concert is pretty good

Apparently this is originally sung by Zayn Malik for his second album but he scrapped it.

It does sound quite basic just like Zayn's whole discography.
