It does sound quite basic just like Zayn's whole discography.

Apparently this is originally sung by Zayn Malik for his second album but he scrapped it.

Never heard of him. But it has a really nice sound! I feel it is like 90's R&B I dunnno why...

This Tiny Desk Concert is pretty good

I've always had a hard time getting into him (although I love the song with Sinead Harnett), I'll give this another try.

Finally got round to listen to this. It starts off strong, but I feel like it meanders for a while before picking up near the end again.

Bourbon is one of the best songs ever, doubt he'll ever top this.

While I agree this one is more consistent, Ology was still much stronger based on individual songs alone. But you could make a literally perfect album mixin the highlights from the two.

I see. This album indeed sounds more "commercial" compared to his previous album. Not sure if Usher/Chris Brown would be the best comparison though but I get what you're saying. Ology was far darker and definitely has a little bit of that high/'spacey' vibes but still pretty much quite melodic.

    WAIT.

I'm enjoying this WAY MORE than I remembered my first spin.

Sharpest Edges, Paper Tulips, Sleep On It and Celine are the best tracks by far.

"Sleep On It" is getting some radio play on the adult R&B stations, which is pretty cool.

If there is justice in this world, the title track with 6LACK would become a hit in 2020.

I only played it once tbh, and it didn't impress me that much. I thought Ology was way better than this.

I have to give this another spin today tho!!!

I love it but not as much as Ology. Celine, Sabrina Claudio duet, Sharpest Edges, Hurt and the title track are my favorites.
