I think Em should be applauded on that video for Darkness, at first it feels like he's glorifying gun violence, but actually he's telling someone elses story and it doesn't end well. There are a couple of interesting lines there about him being a license owner and also there being no motive.

This is better than expected. Could have done with less songs (20 songs and over 60 minutes length is too long for an Eminem album) but there are definitely some nice tunes on this. Overall a better album than the previous two IMO.

Those final 30 seconds or so left me gobsmacked. That's surely the fastest Eminem has ever rapped on any of his songs including Rap god. It's easily my favourite track on the album too.

I'm going to give this a go tomorrow, I've been so busy with Louise's album this week I couldn't even concentrate on another one.

I finally listened to this and really liked it. My favorites are You Gon‘ Learn, Those Kinda Nights, Godzilla, Leaving Heaven, Stepdad, Lock It Up and Farewell. I also loved the Alfred Hitchcock intro and outro.

It‘s definitely better than "Kamikaze". That album was just him complaining about the reviews "Revival" received. I did not need the sound of someone being stabbed in the intro though....

The Manchester bomb references have left a sour note, at least here in the UK. Will eventually listen to this album though..
