Billie Eilish - Therefore I Am

Love this. I've enjoyed a number of songs in the past from Billie but only recently started to get into her music more, and this is becoming one of my favourites.

After a couple of slower songs, 'Therefore I Am' is a change in sounds. It's definitely uptempo and I like that she's back to 3 choruses, which (unfortunately) is not always the case with her songs. She's rapping in the verses and singing in the chorus; there's a small instrumental part between the c-part and the final part. Lyrically, the song could be a bit stronger. Soundwise, there is a mix of pop and hip hop elements, I initially had to think of 'Good Girls' from the first album, but it also borrows a bit of the quirkiness from 'My Strange Addiction'. It is a solid effort, but I think there's room for more, so I hope this is just a gap single and not part of the 2nd studio album. 5/10
