This is obviously tied to the film's campaign: Oscar's voting goes underway next week, just today the film got longlisted in 12 categories at BAFTA, next Wednesday the GG will take place, etc
etc. On top of that, next Sunday it's the birthday of Elvis and his state is doing a huge push for it with Warner's help. Sometimes people forget licensing is as much of a business as sales, streams or an artist's chart positions. Why would RCA or any label miss on any revenue (even if its pennies) on a zero cost basis? lol
