B*witched are back with new music for the first time in nearly a decade.

To celebrate 25 years since the band was formed, the girl group are releasing their new song, Birthday on Friday.

They’ve been teasing on socials that a video drop on Friday is also coming, and have been doing a daily countdown.

I remember buying C’est La Vie when I was a kid. 25 years later it’s still one of my all time favourite songs

I always felt they were due a proper revival, although their chart career was very short compared to the likes of Steps and S Club 7.

The irony of course is that they had more #1 singles than Steps and the same number as SC7. But yes, B*Witched basically had the four #1s + Dear Jessie before it was all over and they started flopping.

To be honest they did pretty well off the back of The Big Reunion, spending the last decade doing festivals with the original line up. They were one of the only acts to release music too - I love their Champagne or Guinness EP.

Not as messy as their appearance on ‘This Morning’ yesterday - they quietly announced their budget GH album ‘C’est La Vie: The Collection’ had been updated to include Birthday, which Alison ignored and told viewers ‘Their new single Holiday is out now!’

Looks like the update of the GH (with new cover) means Birthday isn’t from a new album. Also Adele said the song isn’t about having a birthday, but celebrating ending a relationship?
