The only memorable part is the sample. The rest of the song sounds like it could be played in the background in a restaurant. Not bad but a bit uneventful.
I love you Shaki, but this sounds extremely basic and like a dozen of songs from the last couple of years.
The sample, at least for me, makes it even more irritating. It's like they saw the success of "Con Calma" last year and wanted to replicate that using a sample from another 90's smash...
I need Shakira's energy like she had w Ojos Asi, Laundry Service era, La Tortura, Loca, Chantaje (no matter she never promoted it), and even she put a lot of effort in She Wolf.
The cover is embarrassing. From the tacky worn vinyl template, to the cheap background and ugly clothing/hair, what were they thinking?
The song is reggaeton by the numbers. Shakira knows how to write a good song, and reggaeton doesn't have to be generic. I don't know why she's throwing out lazy, uninspired songs more suited to a third-tier fledging reggaeton artist.
Surely she has enough tax-free money and stature to take risks and make something interesting?
