You can hear baby Maya Rudolph near the end.

Her life was so tragic. I saw the Unsung special TV One did on her some years back and it brought me to tears.

Not a huge fan but Kween owes her entire existence to this

          Devastating.

She wasn't the only artist to record a "final testimony" song (Queen, Bowie, George Harrison, etc...) but when you consider she was just 31 years old and her children were still really young makes it all the more bittersweet. Notice she never uses her right arm because it was already paralyzed from her cancer.

Beautiful song. Minnie's discography is very underrated.

It is, she always brings me to tears with her voice.

The song that really haunts me is Alone in Brewster Bay.

              Love the woman.

It's so sad and tragic she passed away too soon! It would have been cool to see her with her talented daughter in the industry together.

"Young Willing and Able" is also one of my favorites from her!

She's so underrated. It's sad that the industry (even then) has always been impartial to screeching tire big vocal performers.
