'Please Don't Tease' is not a Solo Single for Cliff Richard. It was one
of 7 UK No.1 Singles, by Cliff Richard & The Shadows. I've had to check
his Singles, with The Shadows, several times, for my Chart Trivia Lists. I
even checked, the Columbia Labels, of Cliff's 1950's and 1960's Singles.
Most of them credit The Shadows and not just Cliff Richard. The Shadows,
7 No.1 Singles, with Cliff Richard, had 28 Weeks at No.1, between them.
The OCC pretend, that The Shadows, 'only' had 5 No.1 Singles & 16 No.1
    Weeks, as The Shadows + 1 No.1 with Cliff = 6 No.1's and 21 No.1 Weeks...

The OCC have made a mess of their Shadows 'Section'. They only credit 8
Cliff Richard & The Shadows Singles, to that Group. Only 1, of which, was a
No.1 - 'Travellin' Light' - 5 Weeks, at No.1, in 1959. So, The OCC pretends,
that 6 Cliff Richard & The Shadows No.1's, and their 23 No.1 Weeks, were
only credited to Cliff. If you look, in old Guinness Chart Books, you will see,
that they always credited, Cliff Richard & The Shadows Hits, to both Cliff
and The Shadows. (It's a mystery, why The OCC allow 8 Cliff Richard &
The Shadows Singles, to be in their Shadows 'Section', but not the majority
of them. There is no sense, or logic to it. Certainly no consistency).

'Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini', by Brian Hyland, is not
about a Woman. It is about a Little Girl. She's too shy, to go to the water,
in her Bikini. For Years, (like many People), I thought that it was about a
Woman, or a Teenage Girl. The Song was covered, by several other Acts,
in German and French etc., It was a often, a Hit for several of them, in their
own Countries. It was also covered by Bombalurina, (Timmy Mallett), in
1990, and that went to No.1 in the UK. The Brian Hyland original was a US
No.1 Hit, but it 'only' reached No.8 in the UK. Brian's biggest UK Hit was,
'Sealed With A Kiss', which was No.3 in 1962 and No.7 in 1975...

Brian Hyland is a great original, but he's no match for Timmy Mallett and his band Bombalurina!
