The title track is R&B brilliance. So soothing.

It's a shame this almost didn't chart well! I was actually surprised that it debuted at #13 with 123,000 copies sold considering how much of a juggernaut Whitney was in the 1990s, and this was her first studio album in eight years. Luckily, the singles helped propel this to 4x platinum.

i'm listening to this right now, and it sounds just as amazing as the first time I've listened to it in 1998.

Strong album with very fresh and modern sound. Production was genius. I love My love is your love single and video. Great message. Very actual these days.

Definitely my favourite Whitney album. Full of hits, modern R$B slayage.
              Bless her soul.

                Can't believe it's 17yrs old
This album could slay all the wanna-be RnB hits of today.

                  So powerful!

I hope she'll release a remix similar to this classic of her new single 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength'.
This song (INRBIO) is worth the price of the album alone!

the remixes were huge in America (i miss maxi cds :( )

the album hasn't really aged and there's everything for everyone in there

This and I Look To You are her only good albums, unfortunately.
All of her albums had stellar singles but album wise, it was never her thing. Always a few brilliant singles and the rest was filler normally, bar this and I Look To You.

Glad critical aclaim, sales and impact on majority of current singers would disagree, in the end of the day it is all that matters.

Dislike the title track (so boring!) but all the other singles were great. Heartbreak Hotel is her best song.

My favorite album by Nippy. Such a perfect R&B album.
                                              The title track <3
                                              Oh Yes <3
                                              Heartbreak Hotel <3
                                              Floped and localed

It's Not Right But It's Okay: perfect album opener, a fresh new sound for Nippy and a more feisty attitude
Heartbreak Hotel: flawless R&B-track, even though I think Nippy is outshined by the vocals of Kelly Price and Faith
My Love Is Your Love: very touching, catchy song
When You Believe: a classic duet, great vocal performance by both
If I Told You That: great up-tempo track, sounds a bit dated now
In My Business: good album track, sounds a bit dated now
I Learned From The Best: run-of-the-mill Diane Warren ballad that gets upgraded big time by Nippy's vocal performance
                                                Oh Yes: wonderful R&B-song
Get It Back: good album track, but sounds dated now
Until You Come Back: classic Whitney! sounds like a mature version of Saving All My Love For You
                                                I Bow Out: great R&B-track
You'll Never Stand Alone: nice album closer, Nippy is singing this from her heart

This is probably my most favorite album from her. I think it's her most consistent and cohesive body of work. It feels like listening to an actual album, not just a collection of tracks. I loooove her "smokey vocals" on it, but I kind of agree the title track is a bit overrated.

And can we all agree the Thunderpuss Remix of INRBIO just shits on the original version? it's actually one of the best remixes I've ever heard of any artist.

                                                  Fave tracks:

                                                  Heartbreak Hotel
                                                  It's Not But It's Okay
                                                  I Learned from the Best
                                                  Oh Yes
                                                  I Bow Out
You'll Never Stand Alone (one of my favorite Whitney ballads)
                                                  Until You Come Back

But it contains her weakest remake, I Was Born to Love Him.
"Dion's voice glides effortlessly from deep whispers to dead-on high notes, a sweet siren that combines force with grace."
                                                  - Time
