    Preach.
I was so sure this would be a single. :-?
Madness. It would have been a lock for number one in the UK.

For me, that is what broke her into the Mother Lamb that she is today. It was her first “break through into the modern urban culture” hit.

I see so many Lambs dismiss it because "Dreamlover is pop!!!!!!1111"

I honestly don't understand some Lambs' "hate" towards this album. It's one of her best albums, vocally. Not on a technical aspect tho. Her first two, albeit both great records, she was a bit of a show-off. She was too busy convincing everyone that she had the pipes. I understand she needed that, but Music Box showcased she can "emote" her songs. I really appreciate the minimized vocal acrobatics on this album.

This has to be one of Mariah's greatest creations and something I want Mariah to be always remembered for.

All I Ever Wanted is probably my favorite track on the album. I'm not a huge fan of Never Forget You, but I still like it in the mix. Dreamlover is such a fun single - one of my favorite leads from her.

Opposite for me. I played the Mariah Carey and Emotions from start to finish again and again.
Music Box was the first album, though I loved it, where I skipped two songs: Just To Hold You Once Again and All I Ever Wanted. I only appreciated those songs years later.

This album obliterates discographies, in my opinion. It flows from excellence to excellence. Even "Everything Fades Away" is gorgeous, and has aged so well!
