She really owes her international career to this album. I'm glad she doesn't disown it considering it was more of Tommy Mottola's wedding present for her (and all three brilliant albums under their marriage were created at her lowest point personally). Of course, Mariah is super talented and all her 1990s songs are amazing, but if every pop star is married to the CEO, you can really be this unstoppable in terms of marketability and commercial appeal. Flawless album roll out, I can still remember all the channels in 1993 reporting how "Dreamlover" is #1 every week. What a time to be a Mariah fan!

I love Mariah's version of 'Without You' from this album. Out of the of the 4 Mariah albums I own I think this is my favourite.
