  • Brandy - Full Moon [album]

Got it yesterday. Things that impress:
    • It's 74 minutes long[/*:m:35lt4wnu]
    • Inlay contains lyrics[/*:m:35lt4wnu]
    • Brandy thanks webmasters of her fansites in the inlay - something not many artist dare to do[/*:m:35lt4wnu]
    • nice images of the Moon all over[/*:m:35lt4wnu]
    • the inclusion of "Another Day In Paradise"[/*:m:35lt4wnu]
    • innovative sound![/*:m:35lt4wnu]

I'm not sure if I'll like it as much as I like "Never Say Never", but there are some good tracks on there (I like the title track and the single), and the longer it takes to get into the better really

Excellent! I'll be sure to pick it up. Can you tell me if she included a cover of I'd Die Without You (PM Dawn)? I had seen it on a previous tracklist, but it wasn't on it last time I saw a renewed tracklist.

Good on her for acknowledging fansite webmasters- a lot of artists should follow her example.

"Full Moon" is definitely the star track of the album, it sounds like nothing else ever recorded. Good news: it will be the next single

I love Almost Doesn't Count - Are there any songs like that on the album?

Also, does anyone know why Open was axed from the tracklisting? It was going to be the second single

I bought the album today and I abs love it!!!!

Once of the track uses a sample of thong song, but its hidden quite well and sounds great.

Buy it if you like Aaliyah's last album , they are very similar

This album is brilliant, more innotive than Never Say Never, but she will never match the strong lead she gave herself with her first album ... only probs. "Full Moon" sounds just like "Lunch Or Dinner" by Sunshine Anderson, I really dont like "All In Me" and "Another Day In Paradise" is on, which has 2 be the worst POP song ever, why put a pop track on such an urban album?
ps. The "Thong Song" is not sampled on any song.

I really like the album, I also liked her last two. 'Full Moon', is a great song, I was hoping it would become a single, I think the best track has to be 'What About Us'. I do like, 'All In Me', 'He Is', 'Come A Little Bit Closer' and 'WOW',(the song she wrote with hubby Robert Smith)

If you go to track six and 01.48 you will see what I mean. It mentions no sample but its a rip off of the bit in thong song which goes

she has dumps like a truck..truck truck
guys like what..what....prob not the words but you know what I mean.
                    Still a great album.

Disagree with full moon sounding like sunshine anderson, I love full moon, hate lunch or dinner.

Jami, me and you nearly always agree when it comes to music coz you got style girl, but I must admit I think sunshines album sucks apart from heard it all before.

why thank you haha  I agree about Sunshine's album..the only two hot songs were the singles.

I just noticed that Mike City produced both Lunch or Dinner, and Full Moon... hence the similarities

I like "Full Moon" however "Lunch Or Dinner" is not one of my favourites

I think "All In Me" is wicked too, maybe even better than "Full Moon"!

I liked the album, I have the other two aswell, the best track is 'What About Us', followed by 'Full Moon'.
If the 'Thong Song' was sampled, it would be in the credits right?

This is weird, the more I listen to "It's Not Worth It" and "Love Wouldn't Count Me Out" the more it sounds like Michael Jackson's vocals are actually on "Love..." and not It's Not Worth It", like it says in the credits!!!

                                  What do you think?

I don't know. I really like 'Love Wouldn't Count Me Out', but has anyone noticed there's a small bit in 'It's Not Worth It', that sounds like 'Angel In Disguise'? Or is it just me?

Yeah, it does sound the same, the thing the guy says (BTW - The FULL MOON album kicks ass, as does Aaliyah's (RIP))
You said turn around so I cannot see your tears falling...

This is really an amazing album! I love how she took a risk with "What About Us" and "Full Moon" doesn't sound like anything she has done before.

This album is R&B greatness (although granted it's most of Brandy's fan favs...its not mine).

When You Touch Me, He Is....

The birth of the vocal bible.

I can't believe how she totally ignored "Come a Little Closer" as a single, that was a huge hit here. It could have been a big "Have You Ever?" hit for her. :-? :-?

Great album vocally but the material is a bit dull at times. Still love the album as a whole though.
