I looove every song from 1-15. From 16-28 are songs I like, but I'm not crazy about them. Only truly dislike JALW and Son Of A Gun.

AFY has more highlights, but Damita Jo is better overall for me.

This + The Velvet Rope are the albums I love the most. Both of them offer an eclectic selection of sounds, rhythm, vibes and emotions that are hard to find in an average album. The Velvet Rope is very personal and Damita Jo is a collection of sounds and styles when she feels real comfortable being in. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this

I listened to this album last year when I was sunbathing at the beach and it was amazing. It felt so good.

This, Velvet Rope & Discipline are my favorite albums of her. I think this one is my ultimate favorite.

Agreed. This deserved much more (than AYF).

My favourites are 'All Nite (Don't Stop)' - I still lose it when I hear this in a club - 'Island Life', 'Thinking' Bout My Ex', 'I Want You', 'Moist' and "Warmth'.

The second half of the album is so strong.

I think I played this album for a month straight before finally changing CD

Also, no mp3 on phones back then. Just 10 second audio notes, so I remember recording 10 seconds each of My Baby, Island Life and Warmth

Imagine if that Justin performance was replaced with 'All Nite' instead

R&B was huge in 2004, and Janet could have been up there with Usher and Alicia Keys. It was such a traumatic year for the fans

I never understand why they picked 'Just A Little While' as the first single. I really like the track, but it literally doesn't sound like anything else on the album. 'All Nite' would've been better. Or 'My Baby'.
